Matthew Northover
Matthew holds a Masters degree in Economics from Cambridge University. He qualified as a Charted Accountant with Ernst & Young before leaving to work in strategy and planning for AstraZeneca. Matthew subsequently moved to The City, where he spent nearly 10 years working as a financial analyst at a number of investment banks, including JP Morgan Chase and UBS. During this time he won a number of industry awards. Most recently he has worked for Hargreaves Lansdown, one of the UKs leading IFAs, as the head of their corporate consultancy team.
Matthew has been actively investing in Berlin property since early 2005, as well as having investments in residential property in the UK and Eastern Europe. Matthew is one of the founding partners of PMM and Argo. He is the Managing Director of Phoenix Spree Property Fund and a Director of Phoenix Spree Deutschland, two funds investing exclusively in German property.
